The British Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V.’s (hereinafter referred to as "BCCG") prime concern is to protect personal data (hereinafter referred to as "Data") of individuals, who visit our website www.bccg.de ( hereinafter referred to as "Website"). The following policy is to detail our approach regarding the protection of data, which we collect, process and use (synoptic "Process").
Personal Data shall mean any information relating to personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable person, such as the full name, (postal or email-) address, telephone or telefax number, or other data which can be reasonably linked to such information by BCCG.

The BCCG undertakes to comply with the German Data Protection Law concerning the treatment of personal Data. We ensure to only Process Data if necessary and permissible under the German Data Protection Law, e.g. to perform contractual obligations or to enable individuals the use of our Website as the case may be that the individual explicitly agreed to the Processing of the Data (for instance to answer questions or to register for our newsletter).

If you click on one of the tags, our Website will link you to the website associated with the tag. User information will be transferred to the third party's website provider once the tag opens. If you consent or have consented to your Data being Processed by us, you can withdraw your consent at any time free of charge with effect for the future and without incurring additional costs other than the usual transmission costs at the basic rates. The BCCG will keep your Data as long as necessary to provide you with our services or until we are no longer legally obligated to do so. In the second case the Data will be deleted after the expiration of the legal obligation to retain it.

In accordance with the applicable legal provisions, you are entitled to receive information about your Data that we have stored free of charge and at any time. In the event that the Data has been incorrectly or illegally stored, we will gladly correct, block or delete this Data. Please ensure to notify us of any changes in your Data.
