Europe without the UK? The consequences of the British EU Referendum

Gallery

Nur für geladene Gäste, begrenzte Kapazität / by invitation only, limited seats.

Series Political Event. BCCG and Open Europe Berlin are taking a neutral stance in the referendum campaign.

2016 marks the 70th anniversary of Sir Winston Churchill´s famous speech on Europe held in Zurich. He had a vision of a United States of Europe. Since its accession to the EU, the UK has had mixed feelings on EU membership and its usefulness. Is there a special reason for this and has the EU listened enough to the British concerns and likeminded to those of other states? These and other questions will be discussed with:

BARBARA BÖTTCHER | Economist | DB Research
THOMAS KIELINGER | London correspondent | Die Welt
DR. HUBERTUS PORSCHEN | Chairman | DIE JUNGEN UNTERNEHMER
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY KCVO PC DL | Former Leader of the House of Lords
Moderator: PROF. DR. MICHAEL WOHLGEMUTH | Director | Open Europe Berlin
