"Energy" Gala Dinner

Gallery

with guest speaker Jørgen Kildahl, Member of the Board of E.ON SE

The global energy environment is changing rapidly, sometimes in unforeseen ways. Yesterday’s perceived energy scarcity has given way to a new cycle of potential energy abundance based on technological innovation in the oil and natural gas industry. As a result, the United States and Canada are enjoying an energy renaissance and accompanying economic stimulation, though for how long and with what environmental consequences remains to be seen.

We are delighted that Jørgen Kildahl has agreed to talk to us on the state of the European Energy landscape, its political contradictions and potential implications not just for the energy providers but also for the wider economies in Germany, UK and elsewhere in Europe. What should be the way forward for European Energy - how can we find common cause in policy and practice.

TESTIMONIAL
