British-German cooperation in economics and finance - challenges and responsibilities for the next decade
A joint seminar organised by British Chamber of Commerce in Germany (BCCG) and Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF), followed by a Drinks Reception.
The UK and Germany are joined by robust and cohesive bonds of mutual interest in Europe and the world. The UK is not a member of economic and monetary union (EMU). But Britain is the most important trading partner of the 17-member euro bloc and last year took over that position for Germany too.
This late afternoon seminar in Berlin on 12 November provides an opportunity for reflection on the wide-ranging strands of UK-German commercial and economic ties from the viewpoints of politics, finance and business.
